June 18, 200520 yr I have never heard of this problem but since re-installing FS2004 from a long time of being out of flying with it I have a strange problem when adjusting my OBS, CRS, or HDG knobs/indicators. The problem also exists with the autopilot when trying to set an altitude to use. The adjustments all come in 5 degrees for CRS and HDG and therefore I can't tune in a specific radial unless it is something like 180 or 185 degrees...if I am trying to tune the 193 radial I can't do it.Also with the autopilot it sometimes increases in 1000's of feet and then in 100's of feet...In other words I click on it once to set it and it increases/decreases in 1000's and then after a little bit if I try and reset it for another altitude it may increase in 100's and/or back to 1000's. Makes it quite difficult to set an altitude of say 7,500 when it only moves in increments of 1000. Has anyone heard of this problem and is there a fix??? Thanks!!!Brandon Thetford
June 18, 200520 yr Try a default plane and panel. Every time that it's happened to me, it turned out to be caused by a third party panel. FSUIPC has a fix for the problem but it may only be available on the payware FSUIPC. R-
June 18, 200520 yr Author I'll try that...I am also a registered user of FSUIPC so I will look in there as well.Brandon Thetford
June 24, 200520 yr Author I looked for an option in FSUIPC to fix the adjustments on my CRS, HGD, and ALT but there is not one. Does anyone know how to fix my aircraft from changing increments in all of these settings? Sometimes it increased by 100s of feet and then the next 1000s so I can't set an exact altitude or course for the autopilot or for my OBS gauges.Brandon Thetford
June 24, 200520 yr Hi,In FSUIPC there is a technical tab and there is an option 'fix control acceleration' (or something)That should cure your problem. If not something else is wrong...
