AI separation

Featured Replies

Is it just me or is anyone else having the problem with AI planes and go arounds still? Ive used AI smooth FSAIV you name it, nothign works..even when i turn down the traffic i still get planes conflicting with landings...is there annny cure for this? especially happens in airports with multiple runways but only able to use one due to the flight sim programming..its very annoying any help??thanks,Stephen

Have not tried any of these programs, you mentioned, but I thought about doing so, the other day. Interesting to hear what the PROs have to say here too.

Hi,Both programs have worked great for me. Right now I use AISmooth on every flight. So, some suggestions for AISmooth:You are using the latest version, correct? You have FSUIPC installed correctly?AISmooth is connected to FS04 and shows some flights at times? You start it at the beginning of your FS04 session?Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg

Funny. AI smooth was working, but now seems to have become less effective. I did play with the settings. What settings do you use Jim, or did you keep the defaults? Mike

I use both, but the other day I was using AIsmooth and started getting go arounds and the rnwy was empty. There was no reason for the go arounds. Must be a hipcup or something. A while back an ai got stuck in a holding patteren at KLAX eventhough nothing was coming into 24R. I guess little glitches.

I use it without Respond To Own Aircraft enabled. If you are spotting at an airport or are anywhere near a runway enabling it will not let AI land. I only let it seperate AI from each other and while not the most realistic I found a 120 second seperation lets queued AI take off at high density airports and in the air I squeeze between the holding AI.I use UT and run 80% AI traffic. Using version 1.0.
