June 17, 200520 yr Hi Guys. Some of my add on planes are being referred to by ATC as "Experimental".Are there any ways to change it so that they are calling the aircraft by their correct name?
June 17, 200520 yr In case you didn't know the reason that ATC describes an aircraft as experimental is that the description given to that aircraft is not recognised by Microsoft ATC. My way of getting around that issue is to use Editvoicepack (you can get it from the file library) and then to click on "view missing" from one of the menus. That will tell which aircraft has the problem and why. Then either edit the aircraft.cfg file or you could use Editvoicepack to create something to match what your aircraft uses. If you aren't up to creating A/C types then either browse the file library for the one you need or email me from the website below (I like messing with voicepacks).BTW the unrecognised bit is in "atc_type=BOEING atc_model=B734"and MSFS also objects if those entries do not exist or are empty!Andrew Brownhttp://www.gordiusfs.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/
