April 2, 201511 yr A problem I've never seen until I updated my 800/900 and 600/700. Full left-wing down aileron trim, yesterday on take-off, today, after being in trim all flight, on landing when I disconnected the A/P at 100 ft. Is this something I am doing? This never was an issue until I updated with the new installer. I did uninstall everything before running the installer as an administrator. Wouldn't be a problem, save for the fact that in order to get to the trim switches, you have to basically stop flying the airplane and significantly change views. Thoughts? April 3, 201511 yr I'm going chime in here ....in one of those moods: Since upgrading to SP1d I've had pretty much every issue that others have shared on these forums including this one. I also tried every suggested remedy to fix these issues with no success. Anyway, long story short, what seems to have cured all my woes with the 737 was clearing the Windows 7 prefetech with a utility called Tweak Prefetch - I uninstalled the NGX and all associated files before running the prefetch utility. April 3, 201511 yr Author Stop the presses. I've discovered this is a case of pilot error. I inadvertently assigned two functions to the same button on my yoke, and every time I paused my TrackIR, I was also increasing the left wing down aileron trim setting on the NGX. I thought I had cleared that button function, but I had not. Always check the most obvious stuff first. Sorry for the confusion. My apologies to PMDG. April 5, 201511 yr I just had this problem, after a 2 hour flight. I turned the AP off at minimums and hell broke loose... I'm investigating all possible causes, but I haven't assigned anything to aileron trim, never! Fabrizio Barbierato
