Just a thought for FS2006 (not a wishlist and no speculation, hehe).

I was thinking, lots of people never know add-ons for FS even exist, be it freeware or payware. Considering how much FS sells, I'd say there's a lot of room for improvement traffic-wise. What I mean is, maybe many people don't bother to go online looking for add-on content. That could easily be fixed if MS threw in a little paper card on the FS2006 box that linked to their site (not saying AVSIM directly because I am sure it would cost lots of money to get AVSIM's link or logo in there) to find additional game content. I just think many people may not even be aware there IS additional content for FS. So, considering AVSIM is in touch with the FS development team often, why not suggest this? Again, no need to call names, but if they link to their site where maybe a links section could be provided, then I think more people might become aware of just how expandable FS is.What do you guys think?Daniel P.http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/ng_driver.jpgMember of SJU Photography. I agree. it's probably already been thought of and for whatever legal/marketing/BS reasons, it's not a reality. I think that the more that do know of what there is to offer other than what comes with the box, the more it benefits us all in terms of clout with future FS development, prices for addons (volume can mean better prices), more freeware developers trying their hand at creations, more interaction, etc. We just need to figure out a way to reach these guys that have no clue that this community exists!Regards, MichaelKDFWhttp://www.calvirair.com/mcpics/mcdcvabanner.jpgCalVirAir International

Just a theoryVern

There is a web browser built in to the simulator. The link takes you to the MSFS website, and from there the links are all in place to many of the key players. And Avsim is first on the list, but sadly also preent is that sponge Ferdy and his site.Don't really see MS would want or need to do any more?Allcott
