Virtual Cockpit spinning problem

Featured Replies

I'll be in VC mode, when suddenly it starts panning rapidly or spinning in a vertical manner. Sometimes I can tap the joystick and make it stop, other times it will spin for the whole flight. I do have Active Camera, and I've also changed the fs9.cfg to a pan rate of 900. Maybe those two are part of the problem. Any suggestions to correct this are appreciated.Curt

I have Active Camera and have not experienced this. Does it happen with every aircraft or only a particular one? To eliminate Active Camera you could temporarily move the Active Camera DLL from the modules folder to prevent it from loading then start FS and try a flight to see if the same happens. Another possibility is the joystick itself.Bud

I also get this while in spot mode, when panning up or down. The only cure is to restart FS:-mad

i was seeing this (and other view problems, too) following update to fs 9.1 and a subsequent upgrade of activecamera. a repeated clean install of activecamera and of all the correct activecamera upgrades solved the problemscould also be a sticky contact in the controller. there are cleaning solutions for this kind of thing... try disabling the panning button (hat switch?) in fs controls and see what happens. if the problem is gone, fix the hardwaregood luck
