Can SimStarter set hardware controller settings?

Featured Replies

Hi Captain Pero,

Is it possible to assign different hardware control settings for different profiles? ie; one profile for two engined jets and a different profile for single engine GA. Each would have different assignments for axes and buttons.

Many thanks

John

There are two ways to select controls for each profile:

1) Use different control.xml files

You can create different "control.xml" files for each profile.

They are here: C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2\Controls\controls.xml

You can copy via "Startmanager > File operation"

2) Assign controler settings via FSUIPC

Hope that helps. ;O)

Thanks Pero,

That's great, I'll give that a go over the weekend.

This really is a very handy programme and very professionally produced.

Thankyou,

John
