I've checked all my settings, and there is nothing checked that refers to the ATC MENU popping up at startup.  When I start FSX, the ATC MENU box pops up requesting a #1 or a #2 choice for tuning in the proper communication channel.

 

How do I eliminate this window popping up at FSX startup?

There is a tick box on your aircraft screen (after you have selected your steed)
