Hi

 

I cant get my head around this and need some help so I can rule out Simstarter and continue to isolate the problem.

 

Recently I had a scenery error when starting up FSX

 

" Add on scenery/scenery in scenery area 131 not found"

 

No Problem I go to my Scenery,cfg and change area 131 from True to " False" and that scenery is now disabled.

 

Now if I continue to use FSX only then that error is gone HOWEVER if I change the profile and start the sim using SIM starter then the error comes straight back !

 

Any help to solve this very annoying problem? Is it anything to do with Simstarter?

 

 

Please send my your scenery.cfg located at

 

C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\FSX\scenery.cfg

 

via email. You'll find the email adress by starting SIMstarter > About

sorry, they where found in spam - I don't check this folder because of too many mails...

 

Regarding your problem:

 

looks like your folder "Addon Scenery" does not exist any more or does not contain this subdirectories:

 

<YOUR FSX>\Addon Scenery\scenery\

<YOUR FSX>\Addon Scenery\texture\

 

This is not a SIMstarter related problem. Looks like this two folders does not (no more) exist.

 

Just create them and it will be fixed. ;O)
