Saitek Panels freeze during flight

Featured Replies

How can i stop my panels from freezing during flight? Ive read some forums before about power management but cant seem to solve my problem? can anyone help me?

One question - are they plugged into USB ports on your computer, or a powered hub.  If they're using ports on the computer, pick up a good powered hub (generally available relatively cheaply) and plug into that.

Saitek's panels appear to draw a lot of current.  One of the 1st symptoms of a shortage of power is that they'll periodically lock up.

This has been happening to me too, out of the blue! Usually it occurs at the same time as my full screen dropping suddenely to windowed mode. I dont know which causes which. I have tried SPAD, no effect, and also reinstalling the drivers that cane with the panels. Didnt check that, though, I realised I could download the latest drivers from the Saitek website,

I havent had the freeze up problem since, and, I have a new feature ... When I turn my avionics off on the multipanel, my radios and autopilot switches off too...very neat :)
