Andy, thanks for your post ... I get the impression from posts on the subject over the last few years that airport elevation is the only drawback about Vector.

 

I do really want it, since I fly a lot in Africa and especially Asia, but currently my system is stable, trouble free, headache free. I can just imagine my frustration after a 2 hour flight to arrive at a plateau airfield. If you say the problem is a non problem though, I think I will have another look at it ...

 

i'm absolutely mystified at this strange and persistent rumor, it's been mentioned several times this last week. those 'headaches' mainly consist of folks forgetting to run the installation tool that comes with it. takes a couple mouseclicks and done. maybe orbx needs a more proactive PR team or something!

You wouldn't have that frustration if you first went to the airport you want to fly to and checked it out...
