After calling around I came across a CFI out of Fullerton who will take myself and my G/F up for a couple hours in a Cessna 172. I requested of him if we could fly through the special VFR corridor over LAX. He said he'd let me do most of the flying. I'm so excited I think I'm gonna pee my pants. My G/F will be taking pics and maybe video too. I'll post some afterwards in the SS forum.-=MAB=-

The LAX VFR corridor is quite a treat! With all the restricted airspace in So Cal it's a wonder one can still navigate this route.If you're planning on a couple of hours, I'd suggest a trip to Catalina Airport after your hop thru the corridor and then back to Fullerton. It's a nice trip and you'll get a real feel for flight in Southern California.Then sign up for lessons.Those CFIs need all the help they can get!
