Reducing Aircrafts

Featured Replies

Hi all,Quick question, is there a way to reduce the amount of aircrafts in the FS9 Aircraft folder? I am using only a few planes and sort of thought it might reduce the speed FSim needs to check for all installed A/C.Also does any one knows whether FS9 runs better under Win2000 Pro or XP pro?Tks and regardsRichard Down Under

In regards to your first question, I made a folder next to my aircraft folder and call it "hanger". I simply put all unused aircraft in it and bring them back as needed.

FlightSim Manager fsm280.zip in the library here. Over 17,500 downloads. Well worth the trouble of installing and RTFM and above all it is free.
