May 22, 201511 yr Hello, I'm having some minor issues with this addon and was wondering if anyone could help. First and most annoying problem: The altitude bug does not move. The numbers change but the bug remains fixed. Second: is it possible to display the % of power on the left side of the PFD? Third: When I add the RXP GNS430 gauge to the panel all gauges stop working (blank). If you know one or more fixes please share Thanks is advance!
May 22, 201511 yr We have support forum and we don't do support here at Avsim. Altitude bug works well here and always has. RXP integration is not supported but F1 GTN is supported. SR20 of this vintage doesn't have that percentage of power on PFD.
May 22, 201511 yr Author Will check the support forum as soon as my account gets activated, i figured it would be faster to ask it here (and indeed it was) I know the RXP is not supported but it has to be possible to use together (2D panel only ofc). All i need is to know the correct entries in the panel.cfg There is a file published on the RXP user files but that one makes my screens & gauges go blank. The altitude bug problem is something strange. I tried several re installs but i keep getting the same problem. The only way the bug moves is when i engage the autopilot and select altitude hold. Somehow the autopilot must be in control of the altitude bug instead of the PFD
May 22, 201511 yr We've not seen your registration for activation. Users who wish to uses RXP w/our products are on their with that integration. The bug moves independant of the STEC 55 on w7/FSX:MS B)
May 22, 201511 yr Author Strange, i did receive a mail telling me to wait for activation. Well unfortunately it does not work that way on my computer :/ (highly doubt w7 or w8 makes a difference here) I'll try to re download and re install one last time
May 22, 201511 yr Author E-mail has been send. I added another autopilot gauge to the panel.cfg that allows to select an altitude and the altitude bug perfectly indicates what is dialed in the AP system. So it is the AP controlling the Alt bug and not the PFD.
May 22, 201511 yr Ah, so you've altered what we built. As stated, our STEC 55X AP/Avidyne integration has worked well since day one. We are aware that folks try to integrate the RXP Stec and GNS without success. Still no email to support at eaglesoftdg.com so PM us here.
May 22, 201511 yr Author Strange.. I did send an email to that address. It does not work with a clean install so I altered to crosscheck and confirmed my initial thoughts. Altitude bug is controlled by autopilot, heading and vertical speed work fine.
