Is it necessary to completely uninstall the original box version before installing the update? There is no information on the Aerosoft site on how to update, just a link to the download zip.

Is it necessary to completely uninstall the original box version before installing the update?

 

Yes. And in the future, you don't even need to install the product off of the CD/DVD. Just run the zip they gave you. It's a full installer.
