NGX Flaps Problem

Featured Replies

I wonder if anyone can help.

Everything has been working fine, until just now.

I did everything as usual, but the flaps won't deploy via my joystick button (they always have). I thought the button might have unassigned somehow, but no, it works on default.

I checked for failures, but none.

I tried to move the flap handle manually, but it doesn't let me grab it.

The only thing I've done since my last flight is install Teamspeak3.

I'm at a loss and don't want to uninstall and reinstall.

Just thought of one thing I did on my last flight...

I replayed the landing after I reached the gate and shut down. Flaps were up on the replay, as that's how they were configured when I clicked replay.

Could this be anything?

Full names in on posts in the PMDG forums please.

Do the F5-F8 keys actuate the flaps?

The replay feature in FSX may not provide all animations such as control surfaces and flaps.

No they didn't.

I found that loading the NGX Tutorial EHAM-LOWI resolved the problem.

Thanks

No they didn't.

Make sure you do not load one PMDG aircraft on top of another. For example, starting from Free Flight with a default PMDG flight then loading a saved PMDG flight.  This results in odd behavior.  See Introduction for a discussion of this.
