FS9 Menu - find start position

Jive1, search the library here for a utility called ScanAFD by Eliot Rogers. If you have Austria Professional or a scenery collection of Austrian or European airports, you may have a duplicate LOWW.bgl hiding among them. Run ScanAFD on your entire FS2004 folder and it will find all AFCAD files with duplicate names for you.

Hi,

after some days without (proper) access to the fora, some questions that may help solving the problem.

I installed FlyTampa LOWW into a sandbox. At first, the scenery doesn't change one of the stock scenery files.

1. Please open the "scenery" folder of your LOWW scenery. Do you have a file "LOWW_ADE9_ADE.BGL" in it? Which size and date does it have? (Mine is from April 22th 2010 and has 37 KB size)

2. Open Afcad 2.21; click onto "open airport" and - after Afcad has searched all files - search for LOWW. From the list, open the first file. If open, look onto the menue line that shows the file name. Is it this very LOWW_ADE9_ADE.BGL file?

Caution: Do not edit the file with Afcad 2.21.

If there's another file indicated, go to File/properties and find out which file probably overrides your FlyTampa afcad.

Please report back...

Regards,

Harald
