Just tried latest beta version of fscaptain .

 

1. It always unpacks with error reading some text document

 

2. Then the install completes with no entry in dll.xml and this no fscaptain in addon menu

 

inshort not working

 

Anybody has any luck with this in p3d  2.5

 

Almost feel like going back to FSX at this point

been using it for ages with 2.5.also with all the hotfixes .

just checked my EXE.DLL and DLL.XML and Fscaptain doesn't install anything into them.so you have no problem there.there is also no addon menu installed.so that is normal.

looks like it's a bad download.i would redownload it and install it making sure you Run as Administrator.If you've already done this i would go over to the Fscaptain forums and speak to Travis or Dutch.
