Lionheart Lear - power settings?

Featured Replies

Has anyone verified the flight model on this puppy?  Seems far too overpowered.  Anyone have any good TO and CLB power settings?  What about CRZ?

MMO shows .87

I'm in a 5000+ fpm climb above FL300 at .81... lol is this thing an F16?

Also can anyone get NAV2 working?  It doesn't seem to drive the RMI.

The real thing was ridiculously overpowered, and had comparable thrust to weight ratios to many contemporary fighters, so your F-16 comparison is not that far off    It was perfectly possible to over speed it in level flight, which is why there was an auto stick puller installed (which was occasionally disabled by operators, with disastrous consequences).

I haven't run the numbers myself (being currently more concerned about how to not over speed  ), but the impression I get is that it's based on a later model for data availability reasons, but your experience of fighter jet like performance is not that far at all from the reality of operating it.
