July 9, 201510 yr Am considering getting this Samsung 27' curved monitor http://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/samsung-ls27e510csx-27-curved-monitor-sals27e510?searchTerm=ls27e510 Can anyone please give me feedback on what FSX is like on a curved monitor and if it is also suitable for other applications. Many thanks John
July 9, 201510 yr I've seen this on display but have not used one. The curve is so subtle I can't imagine any problems using it. You also wonder what's the point of the curve at this size. gb. YSSY. July 9, 201510 yr I bought a Samsung 48 inch 4K curved dispay, one of these: http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/tv-dvd-blu-ray/televisions/large-screen-tvs-32-and-over/samsung-ue48ju6740-smart-ultra-hd-4k-48-curved-led-tv-10127146-pdt.html Was on special offer - £849 after cashback. I'm very pleased with it, but am not sure the curve adds much or anything to the experience, it's a rather shallow curve. But that said, running it with Orbx England and NW pacific regions, it looks stunning, and I get excellent frame rates from my i7 4790k - GTX 970 4gb PC. I only get 30hz refresh, but that really isn't an issue for most flight simmers, it refreshes just fine. I'm running FSX, and have done no mods to the FSX.CFG other than the widescreen one. Eugene
