For some reason, nvidia inspector, won't let me change the Verticle Sync from "Use the 3D Application Setting" to "1/2 Refresh Rate".  My driver version is 344.75.  When I change the setting and click the Apply Changes button, it keeps reverting back to the "Use the 3D Application Setting".

 

Any ideas?

I just remembered that when this happened to me (and it took a while to sort it out) I ended up downloading the very latest Inspector which was version 1.9.7.3 this sorted it.

For some reason I was unable to save certain settings on the older version of Nvidia Inspector that I had installed at the time.

 

Other than that I'm out of ideas.

Finally a solution.  Just downloaded the most current nvidia drivers and viola, it worked.  Once again, thanks to Jem7 for all of your inspiration and help.
