I have had the Pmdg 737 for about a year now. Never had any problem saving and reloading a flight in mid air. I always used the short panel state.

 

Lately I switched to a long panel state at startup. And now when I go to load my flight in mid air, the panel state is at the long startup state? I then have to go into my fmc menu and load the saved panel state. But by then I am already plummeting down to the ground waiting for the 20 seconds to load.

 

Is there anything I can do without reinstalling or repairing the Pmdg?

Hit 'Y' to enter slew mode until it's done and after the initialization period, it will load into whatever state it was in when you saved it. Once it's all ready, hit 'Y' again to exit slew mode and continue on your way.
