F++ team,

I'm curious to what the following entry in the mce.ini file does?

I'm looking for a method for MCE to suspend "listening" when communicating with VATSIM controllers.  To that end, i use a PTT button on my yoke that MCE doesn't seem to recognize.  Currently, I just suspend all services via the microphone button; however, i'm looking for a more elegant solution....

When that option is switched ON and you use the key that is supposed to mute all MCE reco, you get a red text saying so, when key is down.

To use the joystick, proceed as follows.

Temporarily enable the <ATC> feature in UI.

Assign the same joystick button under MCE as if you were going to use it with Native ATC.

Look at the [GAMEPAD] section in "mce.ini" and change "useWithVoxATC=0" to "useWithVoxATC=1"

Disable the <ATC> feature.

From then on, when you hold joystick button down, MCE will assume you're talking to VoxATC.

The option works with any third party ATC. It was initially intended for Vox, but now it's obvious, the name was a bad choice.

Will probably be renamed soon, with MCE accepting both the old option name and the one to come.
