The little photo guy upper left of my post is something I want to replace. I go to Edit Profile and then to the photo page and select a photo from my hard drive and upload it. It shows in the left window but not in the right window and not on my post. What am I doing wrong? I also tried to put the photo on Photobucket and link it but that also did not work.

Apologize for the inconvenience.  We do not know what's wrong.  The Avatar photo works for some and not for others.  Make sure the photo is in .jpg or .png format.  We hope to have this problem figured out some day soon.

 

Our system board that shows your account shows the photo properly.  It's just not showing up in the forums.

Thanks for the reply, I took your advice and just now tried it as a .png  and it now works. I guess it did not like my .jpg.

Yes, that has worked for several but not everyone. Not sure why our system does not like .jpg or .jpeg's. We will be getting a system update soon and that may fix all future problems but thanks for passing on your solution. I hope it works for others too.
