Do you guys know how to create:

 

- place/bearing-place/bearing waypoints

- place/bearing/distance waypoints

- along track waypoints

- latitude/longitude waypoints

 

It would be great to know, would make me more flexible!

Especially flying online.

Full names in the PMDG forums please.

 

It's been awhile since I got deep into the FMS, but I recall that there are not custom waypoints such as you would find in a modern FMS. Waypoints must exist in the navigation database.

 

The FMS operating instructions are in the AOM beginning on page 88.  You may still find the original book on the FMS on the internet (I did several years ago) by using the full name for the product given on page 98; however, keep in mind that PMDG did not include all features in this implementation.

Found this document. I am gonna try it the next time. Hopefully these functions are simulated!
