Only "Select Approach?" is active in the Proc Section.

Hi, I don't know if this is normal, so I will ask here...

 

Why is only "Select Approach?" active in the GNS Units?

 

All other options (Activate Vectors-To-Final?, Activate Approach?, Select Arrival?,and Select Departure? are grayed out, I understand some of the them would become available when needed like "Activate Vectors-To-Final?" but why is the Select Departure grayed out?

 

Do I need to update the NavData for them to become available? I have the default one, it expired in Jan 31 2008.

The 'default one' is the built in database of FS itself. It has no departures, not sure if it has any arrivals and such. It's extremely limited.

 

The only way to get full data functionality is to purchase RealNav Data.
