I'm trying to do a repaint for the Majestic Dash8 for the first time and I'm having some problems with the borders of the colored areas that are very jagged, much more than I see with the default paints.
I found in a video on youtube that I have to convert to BMP Extended 32-bit 888-8 format, but then the textures are all black. I found that saving them to DDS DXT5 does work, but with jagged edges. So I increased the resolution to 4096x4096 and that made a difference, but still far from what the default paints look like.

What file-type and settings should I use in Photoshop and DXTBmp to get the same clean edges as the default paints?

Can you provide me with the PSD file  "before" saving to DDS DXT5
