problem with AI Aircraft... help needed!

Featured Replies

i really got a boring problem with the AI...i takeoff normal, control transfer me do departure and all ok...but when is the land, i land, exit runway but the tower don't see, making the AI stops on airport that i landed because its say to AIs hold because 737 on runway but when it says i was at gate... someone can help out here?a, its only do that when i do VFR flight (i prefer that than making the flight IFR with the FS ATC Procedures are irreal, i do with my own to make stars, sids like the real aviation)

After landing and crossing the runway exit hold short node - you have to acknowledge the tower request to contact ground for parking. That acknowledgement is the trigger event which releases runway back to the ATC for other aircraft.Somewhere a mistaken concept began being posted on the web that removing hold short nodes at mid-runway taxiway exits would speed the exit of AI aircraft from the runway - it might - but it really messes up the parking sequence and the runway clearance process.

i'll try that, but how can i know in where taxiways was available the nodes?

Hi, I had the same problem. I'm not real smart about these things but is yiu don't have it already, you would do very good to get Lee Swordy's AFCAD program. It will allow you to call up any FS airport and see exactly where the hold short nodes are. You may even adjust them if you like or create your own. It's a great tool and it's available here in the library. There are 2 of them. one for fs02 and one for fs04. Make sure you get the right one.Hope this helps.Best regardsJan1,KINDWhen I push the button and it works, I'm happy:-)
