PMDG 747-400 Combi and BCF

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I was wondering if it is possible to get the upper rear cargo door to open on the 747-400 like it dose on the 747-400 Cargo for Combi and BCF repaints as it reads the aircraft like a full PAX plane?

Is this possible to fix on own hand in some way or is there a fix for this out there?

There is no side cargo door in the PAX model so there is no way you can open it. So the Combi and BCF liveries can be flown but you can't open the upper deck cargo door.

According to PMDG previews, the forthcoming 747v2 will have all versions except the -400D, so Combi and BCF should be fully functional.

How do you load cargo in the BCF?

Offcourse the BCF painting is based on the 400 passenger model.

Do I need to load passengers to get some weight in my BCF or can I do it with the 400F loader?

My BCF (PH-MPS) is able to carry 113 ton of cargo, but when I put the passenger model full with passengers and cargo I only get arround 70 ton.

Can I use the freighter loader to get Cargo in my BCF???

Regards Ronald

I don't think that's not possible with the current 747v1 load manager. However if you have Topcat you can try loading cargo with that. It isn't recommended but it has always worked perfectly well for me.
