I have bought a new PC for FS9/FSX but am using the same two (HannsG) monitors as before. I use the main, 28" one for the sim and the smaller 24" one for FSNavigator andother apps..

 

I notice that, when I am running FS9/FSX in full screen+windowed mode or in full screen mode, the 2nd. monitor flickers - or more exactly, has 'waves' travelling down it. It's not steady. If I close, minimise or put FS into a small window in the centre of the screen (Monitor 1) the 'waves' stop.

 

Have I not got things set up corectly? How can I fix this please? I have both screens at their native resolutions. The refresh rates are not changeable. I have the nVidia Control Panel (and also use nVidia Inspector for the sim).

 

My GPU is an nVidia 970 4GB (+ i7-4790K CPU).
