Cold and Dark

Featured Replies

Hey Guys, I've searched around but cant find where to set it to start cold and dark.  Is there a setting for this to always start cold and dark?

Also I have the navigraph update but not sure how to update it.  I have an active subscription and have added in "Carenado  - All Products" into the list and updated it but looks like its still the original. Any ideas?

Thanks

Dave

Hi Dave,

hold down shift and press 6 for cold and dark option. For the navigraph update the P300 will update its database when you reload the aircraft. Hope that works for you.

Go "Shift 6" and you'll get your choices  - i couldn't find it either, and try other shift keys for more options .

Ah perfect, thanks alot

Also, is there a way to check which cycle is installed on the P300?  I just want to double check that is has the latest cycle and not the one that comes with it

Thanks

In the G1000 you turn the outer knob to AUX and then the inner knob to the AUX - System status.

There you can see within the "Aviation" section the "Cycle" which shows the airac number. Latest one is 1510 so for me it shows 151000010002.

Other place to check it if you go into the CarenadoNavigraph\Navigraph\NavData folder inside your FSX folder and check for cycle_info.txt

I hope this helps
