Hi,

My EVGA 770 Classified 4gb does a good job with P3D v3 but I'm torn whether to add a second 770 and go SLI (new step to me!).

Or should I  buy a single more modern card - e.g. gtx 970. The cost is similar and within my budget.

 

Also, if I go SLI will my Corsair 850 watt power supply be up to it?

 

PC: i5 at 4.7 Ghz Liquid cooled on Asus P8Z68-V Pro

Anyone with any advice?

I can not tell you what to do, but the general rules tends to be getting a single higher GPU card is better rather than going for SLI. Many games will not take full advantage of SLI because the games lacks SLI profiles.
