Quick question could Sweetfx cause darkening of the VC panel in some aircraft?

If so which setting will lighten it? Panel is ok when lit by the sun from the rear

Yup. SweetFX is great for glam shots but if you switch between cockpit view and outside views a bunch, depending on view, too much lightness or darkness becomes an issue.

 

Work around is to set SweetFX for one view and then switch SweetFX off ( usually scroll lock key) in the other view.
