Original Ultimate Traffic- repaints?

Featured Replies

So I came across my old, OLD copy of Ultimate Traffic that I bought in about 2004. I installed it into FS9 for nostalgic purposes, and it's really cool to 'travel back in time' with it so to speak. However, I'm wondering if there's still a way to download liveries that did not come with the original package? For example, there are flightplans in the UT database for Syrian Air and Midwest Connect, but they do not appear in sim unless I check the 'show default aircraft' box when compiling. The planes appear when I do this, but they have default liveries and callsigns. I came across this old site (http://ultimatetraffic.flight1.net/downloads.htm) but it looks like it's been abandoned for a long time. Where can I download these repaints?

The original aircraft for UT were ProjectAI aircraft. While you may still find some repaints in the dusty recesses of any sim site file library, yo will do better to download a more up to date model and texture and use that instead. With UT you simply assign that new aircraft to the Syrian air aircraft , compile and you will have Syrian Air in the sim.

Thank you. I know it would probably be better to use newer models, but I like the old models because it makes me nostalgic for when I first started simming in 2003-4 (sort of like how people like to play old nintendo games). Also, it would look weird to have updated models flying around among the older ones as they would look out of place. Anyway, I looked through the libraries on avsim and flightsim and couldn't find anything, so these repaints may have never existed in the first place. If you know of somewhere else that would have the repaints I'd be grateful. Thanks for your help.
