Virtual Folders

Featured Replies

Something I've used for a while and which might be helpful to others.

Scenario: You have a drive, for example your C: (Or whatever) drive, thats running out of space because your scenery (or whatever) folder is bulging at the seams.

You have another drive with plenty of space, but FSX/P3D/Whatever is looking for those files to be in a specific folder on your C: (or whatever) drive, and if you moved the folder to the bigger drive, FSX/P3D/Xplane wouldn't know where to find it!

Possible solution: a Virtual folder, which is where the actual folder is someplace else, (like your bigger drive) But FSX/P3D/X-Plane are still happy, because to it/them the folder appears to still be right where they are expecting it. (even though it actually isn't)

Hopefully somebody out there will find this useful, one day.

We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically.
