August 25, 200520 yr Hello Steve-You should give this a try (I used to do it!). Go to your local flight school and ask them if you could have some old/outdated approach charts. They usually keep piles of them for instructing but I have never had a problem and used to help myself to piles of 2-3yr old sectionals and approach plates. :)
August 25, 200520 yr A while back I found a site that had downloads by region that included all Canadian instrument procedures (outdated, but great for sim) in pdf form. I downloaded them all and then promptly forgot about them when I reformatted my drives and lost them. I have never been able to relocate the source.
August 25, 200520 yr I recently got a complete Canada Jeppsen set - last year's outdated data of course - what is the ICAO of the airport - I'll check this evening (US time) to see if that airport has any Instrument Procedures. Most airports without Instrument Procedures are not covered by any diagrams or approach plates. Also - if there were any instrument procedures for the airport in the fall of 2002 - FS2004 probably has them already in the sim. Does the GPS offer any approach procedure choices for the airport?
