Falling back into programming... Is there a way to "postpone" a function for a certain amount of milliseconds not freezing everything as ipc.sleep ?

What you are wanting would require some deep coding to achieve involving setting flags and playing with the main heartbeat timer.  Unless you are a competent programmer familiar with real time systems then I don't recommend you go this route.

 

The question is why would you want to delay a function?  The ipc.sleep is used to delay a display disappearing too quickly or to allow the hardware/simulator to respond to a command before continuing.
