November 13, 201510 yr Man oh man! Don't recall seeing this before at FL200 to FL240. Planned a Turbine Duke v2 flight for tomorrow at FltPlan.com from KTEB Teterboro, NJ, to KSUS, Spirit of St Louis, MO, and will have to stop and refuel at KIND Indianapolis, IN, 588 nm..... That is if I can make it that far! Average wind component is -97. Have seen that at higher FL's in jets, but have not seen an average component that high at FL250 and below. Will be a costly trip. Significant winds at lower altitudes as well, so looks like FL240 is still the choice.
