Where are we going today?

I own the RFP 747, LDS 767, PMDG 747 and so on.Everytime I want to make a flight I'm wondering which airplane I am going to use and to/from what airport I'm going to fly.A cargo flight in an old 742 would be nice. But should it be long haul or short haul? Then again I change my mind and want to take the LDS 767 for a spin on a short haul. But taking the new PMDG 747 from FAJS to KATL is also a nice challenge!Get my point? It's just so hard to pick a good flight with so many nice add-ons. Do you guys also encounter this problem?

You've got it. There are some neat adventure generators out there, but nothing is perfect. Airline Pilot can assign you flights, but you start your career in turbo props and work up to the bigger planes. I know you can put in any plane you want. Perhaps you can replace the early career planes with bigger ones like you like to fly? There is a free demo available. For General Aviation, I have had a lot of fun with FSEconomy. You pick pick from various flight assignments, and have to factor in distance, available aircraft and pay earned. All this and it is free. It gives you purpose in your flying. Again, it won't let you fly 747 or 767's.Tony=http://www.flightsim-bevs.com]BEVBetaSig.jpg

:-lol I totally agree with you. With all the great planes and tons of payware and freeware scenery, I too get stuck trying to decide on a flight. One thing that helps is that I'll plan a journey. I'll pick say, London to Cairo with several stops along the way. I then rotate say between 5 planes. This way you kind of have a mission. I might do one leg one day with one plane (usually late at night) and then the next leg another day with the next plane in the series.Lee

I've also done some role-playing by picking a plane, in my case, the PMDG 1900C and touring around. If I have about an hour I can sim, I pick an airport that I can reach in that time frame. The next time I fly, I start from that airport and do the same thing again. I use FS Flight Keeper to record on a map the legs I have flown, as well as time flown and all that in it's log.Tony=http://www.flightsim-bevs.com]BEVBetaSig.jpg
