Could do a little better on the RAM and the processor (mainly to the point of diminishing returns, I think), but otherwise you should be just fine. FSX/P3D won't really take much advantage of the 980Ti since it's more processor dependent anyway. I use Win10 on my new build, and as long as you install the simulator outside of the Program Files directory, you should be just fine. Also, will P3D the right choice to run the 737? If you have the P3D version of the 737, then P3D will be the right choice. If not, FSX/FSX:SE only. Kyle Rodgers

November 30, 201510 yr Commercial Member Hello, and thanks for the reply. Can you please explain what does it means: as long you install the sim outside the Program Files directory? When you go to install FSX/FSX:SE/P3D, do not let it install in its default location. Tell it to install in any other location. As an example C:\FSX, C:\P3D, or similar. As long as it's not C:\Program Files (x86)\ you should be fine. Kyle Rodgers
November 30, 201510 yr Author Ok, that is clear now. So can you please confirm that I need just to buy P3d v.3, and I follow your instruction to install it, then pmdg 737 ( P3D version ), and rex 4 with some scenarios with winds 10 and I shouldn't have any problem? Franco Battiato

Correct. When you buy and download the P3D version of the NGX, it will have a file called "P3D Users Read This" (or something along those lines). Make sure to read it, as it will have you install some additional important files to get things working. Common mistakes (with solutions) can be found here: http://www.avsim.com/topic/475850-03oct15-read-this-if-you-have-trouble-in-prepar3d-v3-updated/ If you run into any issues, of course, you can submit a help desk ticket using the link in my signature. November 30, 201510 yr Author Kyle thank you so much...really last question will you recommend P3D or FSX? ...Also, the on the pmdg page it says that is compatible with v 2.4 and v 3.x so I guess that the link with common mistakes was before they released the v3? Franco Battiato

P3D or FSX is up to you based on which you see as a best fit for yourself. Have a look at their licensing options to see which one is best for your specific application. ...and no. The common mistakes are for V3, mainly. Kyle Rodgers
