Power Supply

Featured Replies

Is this in my head or is there something here.  I just replaced my power supply from a 600Watt to a 1000 watt.  Same video card, GTX 980TI.  It appears performance has increased in all aspects.

Computers are not my world, so am I seeing things or is this real?

That isnt PSU related unless your old PSU was a bad unit and was delivering bad power to parts. The psu has no link information wise to the pc and simple just delivers power to the pc. 600w is plenty for a 980ti and a overclocked cpu 100w is is way overkill you could run 3 980ti's on that.
