Southern California performance?
Both Orbx SOCAL and NCA are unusable for me. Very disappointed with Orbx. I have resorted to photoscenery for this area.

Prepar3D v3.2 is out !
Rob, you are spot on. I upgraded to V3.2 and absolutely believe it is the best version yet! LM has done an excellent job. LM could create the cure for cancer yet some people would be upset because it is in a liquid form instead of a pill.

How often do you fly coordinated?
When piloting my Beech, I always fly with yoke and rudder coordinated. On the simulator (prepar3d), the rudder is too sensitive and I tend to always over compensate. Thus I really only use it when crabbing or in cross winds. Also, with the simulator there is no "seat of the pants" feel so much of the physical cues are missed.

ORBX SOCAL out
FSX-SE and Prepar3d v3.1 are two different platforms.

ORBX SOCAL out
Car/traffic settings 0%, Airline and GA at 10%. It is more about smoothness than frame rates. My frame rates vary from 14 fps to 29fps. Stutters are terrible. In fact, stutters are so bad that it is not enjoyable. Better to uninstall this software.

ORBX SOCAL
Very disapointed with this title. I have tried all sorts of settings to get smooth performance with ok frame rates; to include no autogen. The results are the same. Poor frame rates and no smooth movement. The only way I can improve it is to remove it from my computer or fly where there is only desert. i7 4820K OC 4.5ghz 24gig ram 1 T SSD GTX 980 TI Prepar3d V3.1 WIN 10 4K monitor

ORBX SOCAL out
I have tried all sorts of settings, to include no autogen. The results are the same. Poor frame rates and no smooth movement. The only way I can improve it is to remove it from my computer. I believe this ORBX software title is only good for the most advanced computer system.

ORBX SOCAL out
Don't bother. I have most of ORBX products and enjoy them. However SOCAL is just not usable with my system, unless of course, if I had a Cray computer.................. The frame rates are horrible, and there is a total lack of smoothness. My system should be able to handle it but alas......................... Running: Prepar3d V3.1 Win 10 4820K OC 4.5 24gb ram ssd GTX 980 Ti

After 3.1, many addons cause CTD
Not griping, but as the saying goes, "it is as it is". Update to 3.1 client and most of my add-ons cause CDT. Orbx object flow, Milviz F-4, ASN, F1GTN, and others. Guess I will just have to wait until they (add-ons) catch up.

Power Supply
Is this in my head or is there something here. I just replaced my power supply from a 600Watt to a 1000 watt. Same video card, GTX 980TI. It appears performance has increased in all aspects. Computers are not my world, so am I seeing things or is this real?

ai_player.dll CTD
I have also got menus.dll faults, and clr.dll. Is there anyone with a similar experience. Presently I am unable to operate the A2A C182 and the C172 in Europe. I believe I solved the issue. The compatibility mode for Prepar3d V3.0 and GTN were not in sync. Both must be in the same compatibility mode and both run as administrator.

ai_player.dll CTD
This is new and puzzling. It only happens with A2A aircraft, the C182, C172, and the P-51. If I load those aircraft in North America, I have no problems. However, if I move to outside North America, example, Europe, I get CTD with the fault of ai_player.dll. This happens with no other aircraft. I use Prepar3d V3.0. Have Orbx global, Global openLC Europe. Any suggestions?

GTN750 and Hot Fix 2.5.12945.0
I have yet to see Flight1 update of their GTN 750 to work with the Hot Fix 2.5.12945.0. Has anyone have information to the contrary?

Popcorn clouds continue in 2.5.12944
Before we throw the baby our with the bath water, I would suggest this option. Select the clouds you like in REX+OD. Install. Now, in REX TD, disable low level clouds and wave generation. Select what you prefer here ( I like the TD cirrus clouds better as well as some sky texture and airport and lighting textures). Install. Now activate REX Soft Clouds. Select what you like. Install. The results are simply stunning. No popcorn, just plain immersive.
