Recently I did a new reinstall of Prepar3d V4.5. A clean install. I ran the program with no addons, flawless. I than added Orbx global, LC N America, Northern California and the dreaded BEX64 StackHash now occurs. The program crashes as I select options, world, and adjust autogen buildings up or down. Interestingly, this does not occur if I am at the default airport. Any suggestions?

CTD near Norwich. I think I sorted it out. I have no addons with the exception of Orbx TE South and Central. I uninstalled/reinstalled the Orbx software. It appears the program is now working fine. I'll do more testing today. Thank you to all for your concern.

Continue to get CTD with 11.32 when using Orbx TE Great Britain South. Anyone else have this issue?

Has anyone experienced, with this beta build (11.31), CTD? I can not go longer than 15 minutes without experiencing a CDT.

I have build 1809 installed and see no abnormalities. Regardless of the build, I have never experienced the cursor remaining visible. When idle, the cursor disappears in about 4-5 seconds.

This happens to me with all A2A aircraft.

I figured it out. I had a custom addon for Europe that is not compatible with .30rc1. I removed it and all is "right with the world".

I just did a flight from KMRY to KLAX with no long pauses, and only three slight stutters over LA. What I did different was to de-activate the following scenery in the scenery library. Thank you Funky Nasty for your suggestions. I ran a flight from KMRY to KLAX using your settings. After climb, I set course at 8500 in the A2A Bonanza. Unfortunately, half way to San Louis Obispo, I began to suffer the long pauses. There is nothing worse than setting up an approach, turning short final, than a 6-10 second pause happens.

What causes the autogen to turn black when you pan?

I recently did a fresh install of Prepar3d v4.4 and installed my Orbx sceneries (Global, LC North America, Southern and Northern California, Monterey Airport, amongst others. When performing a cross country flight from Monterey CA to Santa Barbara, CA I encountered frequent long pauses as I got close to Santa Barbara. The pauses were so bad that it ruined the entire experience. I never experienced this in v 4.3. I than performed the recommended Prepar3d troubleshooting steps. Without the Orbx sceneries Southern California and LC North America, the simulator performed flawless over Southern California. No pauses, high frame rates and very fluid. I added LC North America, flew the same route, and pauses appeared. I than added Southern California, flew same route, and the pauses became very frequent and long, making for a terrible experience. Based on this, The Orbx sceneries Southern California and LC North America should NOT be used while simulating over southern California in V 4.4. My system: i7 6800K OC'd 4.3GHz 32 GB RAM SSD HD GeForce GTX 1080Ti

The 11.3 beta CTD when loading scenery other than North America. Is there a fix for this?

I find myself using Aerofly2 more and more for a few reasons. Firstly the fluid movement of this platform. It is a simple joy to see how fluid and immersive this simulator is. Secondly, the scenery is exceptional. I can practice approaches into airports with the excellent photo scenery. This makes great practice for getting familiar with airports that I have not visited yet with my real airplane. Yes, I would like to see some improvements, like the refinement of aircraft systems and real weather for instance. I can only hope third party developers like A2A create continent for this superb platform. I am confident the scenery will be expanded as Orbx has thrown their hat in the ring. I just finished a flight from San Luis Obisbo to Catalina Island than to KLAX with the Beech King Air 90. What great views, great simulator performance! Looking forward to the further development of this platform.

I fly a real airplane, and one on the computer. To say you can fly a real one because you can fly one on a computer is only Tomfoolery.

I wish P3D was as smooth in True Earth as AFS2 is. Much better low and slow with AFS2 than P3D.
