Could be missing something.

 

Does widefs key come within max half hour like all the other addons or does it take days, after purchase.

 

Cause just purchased widefs key from simmarket, but does not include key.

 

The mail said another email should arrive or download something from somewhere...{wording very confusing here}

 

But waited few hours now for email, checked my account in Simmarket, found a download, but its only widefs installer, but no key. To clarify the widefs installer I had anyway cause its free to download.

 

But got all the addons including registered fsuipce, for ages, don't recall single issue with fsuipce key retrieval system

 

Anyway, ps, is the key in normal time or days ?

Log into your account at Simmarket. Go to  "Ýour Orders" and find the one for Widefs. Open it and you should find the key there.

 

They do not send out e-mails with the keys any more since a long time.

Found the key hidden amongst a bunch of text on my simmarket account, already checked yesterday, but needle in a hay stack not easy to find.

 

Also the initial email from Simmarket telling you what comes next was very long, contained nothing of value and, and totally confusing as to what happens or where to get your purchase.

 

Don't know why develops just don't take the NO headache approach of sending what I purchased in email, its easy, and intuitive.  Current method relies on customer being well versed on the happenings in the sim community which is a small community.

 

Devs please prefer email with my purchase, rather than horsing around the internet looking for what just paid for.

 

Thanks again for your help I had momentum going last night setting simconnect for ProATC, ASN was gona widefs Fscommander as all onto laptop, momentum to complete this now gone due puzzle of where to get my widefs key.

Finally  tried the widefs key I purchased yesterday, and the registration is failing.

 

Just before you say post on pete's forum, its also usefull info here for others to know what they getting into when they purchase something and have to exhaust their patience to get it.

 

You have to run fsuipc installer to register widefs, did not want to update fsuipc, but had to just so I could register widefs, and even that registration is failing.

 

Don't encourage developers whose security to protect their software sacrifices the rights of  the customer who purchased.

 

Never had addon that gave non working license key, its a first here, after I had to horse around internet to find the key I purchased  in the first place, and key don't even work.

 

I installed registered version of Fsuipc years ago, just in case I might be accused of not  being familiar enough.

 

Only addon I ever dumped due to maintenance burden was RC4, always asking for new key for new key after slightest change to PC, and often wait days for that. Eventually went back to default ATC.

 

Don't encourage dev that abuse customers rights.

Simmarket just emailed me back saying FSuipc and widefs will only work in FS2004, gets worse.

Don't know who to send to them to inform them I am using fsuipc in P3D.

 

Or that registration of wdiefs is independent of what sim you gona use it on. Eben if only works in fs2004, atleast the key I was given should work,

 

You get what you pay for I suppose.
