Hi all.

Just wondering about this error I get when I start up FSX Steam edition. It has just randomly started happening today.

If anyone has any knowledge about it, I would appreciate the help. PMDG add ns I have installed are

737/600/700/800/900

777 Base Pack and 300ER

747X

747LCF

JS41

Thanks.

These are the only two that use that DLL, and they were not compiled for FSX:SE, which might be why you're seeing it. We don't support these products in Steam, and reports of this error in steam have been sporadic from what I've seen (some have been using it just fine).

Odd how the message has just started appearing. I'll see if the 747 still works, not tried it yet.

Thanks for the info.

You could try the following procedure to get rid of the warning and load the DLL correctly. It works for me when this kind of thing happens.

Open fsx.cfg, search for any lines referencing the DLL and delete them (make a back up first of course). Save fsx.cfg. Now start FSX and when the error screen appears click "Yes". FSX should load correctly and the link to the DLL should now be re-established.
