Updating PFPX database

Ok, Just purchased PFPX. Not cheap at 41 Euro's, BUT seems a good investment. However I notice that it comes with a VERY old nav database and I need to spend even more money (22 Euros) to by a license to update it. That makes it a 60+ Euro investment.

 

I already have a license to Navigraph to keep my aircraft FMC databases current and their charts also.

 

Is it correct that I must purchase this Aerosoft NavData Pro to get PFPX current? It seems to duplicate the functions of Navigraph to a large extent - i.e. both can update the FMC of aircraft such as PMDG's NGX?

No you don't need to purchase NavData Pro; I use my Navigraph subscription for updates.  If you use Navigraph's FMS Data Manager for applying new airacs to all your add-ons then a refresh of the add-on list should find your installation of PFPX, if not you can add it manually.
