I may now think of upgrading my 2500k to Skylake with these recent advances.

"Unlocked" means to me unlocking the multiplier, not turning up the base clk... But whatever

 

The difference (at least here in Germany) between the 6700 and 6700k is about 50€... So 50€ is the margin if you upgrade or not?

 

Well.... not my problem, just sayin

Didn't know the difference was so little. Oh well. Then I'll probably wait.

 

2500k still ticking away at 4.7 ghz....
