December 26, 201510 yr Commercial Member It may be related to UIAutomationcore.dll but not necessarily. In any case ensure your UIAutomationcore.dll in the FSX program folder is v6.0.5840.16386. If that's OK look at what addons are running, try anther aircraft and try renaming exe.xml and dll.xml for a retest. Steve Waite: Engineer at codelegend.com
December 26, 201510 yr Author Thanks for the reply Steve I have the correct version and renamed those files. no good. I want to install TacPack and the F18E Superbug. TacPack was the last thing I installed and all went to pot. I have reinstalled several times. No good. Topics I have read are to turn off Compatibility and to not run as an admin. Bout to pull my hair out KG
December 26, 201510 yr Commercial Member Maybe worth a try checking these addons have certain permissions. After installing those programs, but before running them, go to each program file folder in file Explorer and set the Users permissions Modify and Write... On each program folder: Choose "Properties", choose "Security" tab, click "Edit", choose "Users" (My PC\Users), Check permission item "Modify", also see that item "Write" is checked, Click Apply, OK.
