Should Avatar be turned off? I read where it is a performance hit. It is not a big deal for me, don't really care for people flow that much.

Hm, where did you read it is a performance hit...? Does it hurt performance during flight when you have it turned on? I am curious about this. I never use the Avatar (see no use for it right now) so if turning it off has an effect on performance I might as well do that. But I'd really like to know more about it first.

Hello JvanE, I read about it on this forum about a week or so ago. Don't remember who posted it. I have just loaded V3.1 on my system and have not flown yet. In the process of setting things up and that is why I posted this subject. Try flying with it turned off and see if you see any performance difference.

I have it off and don't really see any difference in performance. Does not really affect VAS I would think but never had problems with VAS anyway so I never check it.

Thanks Sean, I'll just leave it off also, right now I have no need for it.
