Does VFX central have to be running alongside the sim?

Featured Replies

Sorry another question. Does VFX Central have to be open at the same time as FSX for it to work. I have applied the settings already so hopefully I dont have to remember to open it every time?

Thanks

Hi Thomas,

VFXCentral is not required at each simulator start for 737 Immersion. We might add functionalities in the future that requires it to be launched with FSX/P3D.

Right now, we offer the option to launch it automatically with your simulator to make sure 737 Immersion is installed properly before you start flying.

I hope this answers your question!

Thanks Keven however your answer is kind of contradictory.  You say it doesn't need to be open but then say there is an option to do so (which I have seen but haven't turned on) to make sure 737 immersion is installed properly?  So which is it?

The only reason I ask is I already have to open a ton of programs to compliment FSX and I could do with one less to worry about!

Thanks
